This shoulder bag is made with an upcycled colorful patterned textile on a grey wool background, handmade in Cusco Peru. The body is made from a traditional "manta" or blanket traditionally used by Quechua women in the highlands of Cusco. The textile is handmade featuring a colorful array of patterns and stripes. The straps and accents are in a distressed deep lavender-grey, made by our leathersmith partner in the Surquillo district of Lima. The tote has inside pockets including a zippered pocket and two open pockets. The inside is lined with a lovely blue cotton.
Each bag varies in pattern and color of textile. These are truly one of a kind pieces of wearable art!
