These plates were woven by hand in Amazonas, a tiny village of 300 people on the banks of the Amazon River of Peru. Talented women artisans, living in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve of the Loreto region, take 3-5 days to make each of these by hand. The colors are all natural dyes that come from boiling natural plants and berries in the rainforest.
These can be hung from a wall or are a lovely table accent.
They are 25 cm in diameter.
