Peruvian Frazada in B&W Boho
This vintage frazada was handmade by artisans in the highlands of Cusco, Peru. Traditional frazadas in neutral tones are rare finds. This frazada was woven, over the course of 1 month, on a backstrap loom. Frazadas are made in 2 panels that are then stitched together to form the frazada. This frazada is made with the natural tones of sheep and alpaca wool. They are durable and made to protect one from the chill of the Andes. Each one is unique and reflective of its maker/weaver. These make wonderful rugs (indoor or outdoor), picnic blankets, bed runners, decorative throws, wall hangings and more.
Measures approximately 65 inches x 63.5 inches
As with all handmade vintage items, there are sometimes "imperfections". These are what make them special, beautiful and real. Truly one of a kind.
NOTE: this one has a small very faded pink spot that is not super noticeable.
- Drycleaning is recommended.
- Overall, frazadas are hardy and need little care.
