Check it out! We are featured in a blog this week down under by Australian Soul & Rhapsody. Joan and I talked about our shared love of handmade textiles and working with artisan partners here in Peru. To read, please click here: Chasing the Pom
If you haven't come across Soul & Rhapsody yet, you are missing out! Fueled by curiosity, Joan started Soul & Rhapsody to push herself "to brave the creative wilderness, step into the arena and share creations to the world". Currently, it is home to her own super sassy handcrafted designs, artisan made limited edition pieces and the stories of other creatives around the world who she has generously shared her journey. Next stop: Show of Hands Chicago!
I am so excited to bring PresentlyIn to my hometown, my sweet town... Chicago. I hope you will stop by to see us and the 100+ talented vendors of handmade goodness on May 4-6th.
Show of Hands was created to be more than just another craft show. It's a real commitment to independent design. It's the presentation of high caliber work in a professional way. It's the understanding that craft can be couture and handmade can be high-end.

I am beyond excited to have been selected to participate as a vendor in the upcoming Show of Hands Chicago Event on May 4th - 6th at Artifact Events (aka Architectural Artifacts) in the Ravenswood neighborhood of my hometown, Chicago. This is such a cool space to host an event: a super hip warehouse of upscale architectural salvage items as well as a sweet event space. It is truly a unique and special venue. I also am so psyched about the mission of Show of Hands Chicago. It was created in 2013 to be more than just another craft show. In their words, "it's a commitment to independent design. It's the presentation of high-caliber work in a professional way. It's the understanding that craft can be couture and handmade can be high-end". How freakin awesome is that?! I just love them. And, not to mention, it's in my HOME TOWN which I miss dearly every day!
I sure hope you will come see me that first weekend in May and let me share with you our bohochic, colorful, hippie girl designs handmade in Peru. I will have plenty of fantastic gifts for mother's day and for yourself, of course!
