These basket bowls were woven by hand in Amazonas, a tiny village of 300 people on the banks of the Amazon River of Peru. Talented women artisans, living in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve of the Loreto region, take 3-5 days to make each of these colorful bowls by hand. They can be hung on the wall or used to sit on a table.
Handmade items often will vary slightly in measurements. These measure approximately 25-26 cm diameter and 4 to 6 cm depth.
